Terms of Service

The fine print, kept short.

Last updated 3 May 2026. Questions? legal@cosaconsult.com.

Acceptance

  • By signing up for Cosa or using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
  • If you're acting on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these terms.

What Cosa does

  • Cosa provides an AI-readiness audit: a structured intake, end-user research via screen recordings and voice answers, AI-assisted analysis, and a delivered playbook.
  • Cosa is a consulting service supported by software, not a self-serve SaaS. The deliverable is curated by Cosa analysts.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about your business and operations.
  • Only nominate end-users who consent to participate.
  • Don't upload content you don't have rights to share — confidential third-party material, IP you don't own, etc.
  • Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise abuse the platform.

Payment

  • Audit fees are due in advance via Stripe. Pricing is per-engagement; see /pricing.
  • Refunds within 7 days of payment if the audit hasn't started; partial refunds at Cosa's discretion thereafter.
  • Retainers, where applicable, are billed monthly and cancellable with 30 days' notice.

Intellectual property

  • You own the content you upload (intake answers, recordings).
  • Cosa owns the platform, the analysis methodology, and the templated structure of the deliverable.
  • The published playbook is yours to use internally without restriction.

Confidentiality

  • Cosa treats your audit content as confidential and won't disclose it outside the engagement team without your consent.
  • Aggregate, de-identified usage statistics may be used to improve the platform.

Warranties and liability

  • Cosa provides the platform on an as-is basis.
  • We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Total liability under these terms is capped at the audit fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

  • Either party can terminate for breach with 30 days' notice and an opportunity to cure.
  • Cosa may suspend access immediately if the platform is being abused or used unlawfully.
  • On termination, you can export your data within 30 days; after that we delete it per the privacy policy.

Governing law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Cosa Consulting is registered. Disputes are resolved in those courts.

Changes

  • We may update these terms; we'll email registered stakeholders before material changes take effect.
